I was born with the blood of an artist. At a young age I found my love for comic books and all things retro; namely Elvis Presley. As a small child I spent my time writing and drawing comic books I would sell for five cents apiece in grade school. I’d dreamed of being an actress or a singer, and drawing comics for Batman.
When I finished high school the drive to create did not stop. Throughout school I spent years teaching myself special effects make-up, how to make jewelry, costumes and more. Since then, I have received a certificate in comics and graphic novels, a certificate in make-up art and a hair stylist diploma. I am currently illustrating a weekly Zombie comic for the local newspaper.
I find inspiration in everything and have a knack for helping people find their own style and beauty. I see a blank canvas in everything I do and am determined to make my mark. I express my passions outwardly into my work, through modelling, drawing, whatever medium I choose; my hands are my tools.
With modelling came another part of me, a new persona. I am attracted to all things dark and mysterious, and find myself summoning inspiration from things of an esoteric nature. I want my imagery to come across dark and beautiful. I see a perfect contrast and harmony in the balance of beauty and darkness, after all that is the nature of life itself. I chose the name Crimson Gospel, because I believe it best represents that contrast in myself, and in my many visions.
